Monsters! Monsters! is a TwoSide hardcover rhyme-format children’s picture book. Tab and Louis, the two main characters, share their respective stories and feelings about monsters. While they may not align, both ultimately assert agency in how they choose to engage with or cut off their own personal “bugaboos”….

This is Louis.
He’s tired—even grumpy. From noises loud and bumpy… Since the monsters have come ‘round.
You’d be grumpy too. They play his drums and make a such mess. Then there’s the bad, bad jokes… Ugh! Where can a four year old get some sleep?
Louis has been a polite (albeit unwilling) host to this raucous crowd, who have taken a liking to hanging out in his room at night.
And while the monsters adore Louis, the feeling at the moment, isn’t mutual. It could be that as fun-loving as they all are, Louis might be a teeny-weeny bit afraid.
And maybe, he’ll gain the courage to tell the monsters “it’s time to go!”
